Ms. Abena Amponsaa Asante-Asare holds a master’s degree in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and has experience in various HSE capacities including as the HSE lead for the Sekondi Takoradi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and as a consultant for the International Labour Organisation in the SCORE (Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises) program. She has served as a safety coach for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). She has worked with the Brisbane City Council in the capacity of an Environmental Health Officer, and Hanson Construction (Heidelberg Cement Group)- Brisbane, Australia, assisting the HSE Managers in undertaking environmental and safety audits, inspections, training and general HSE duties.
